Castlerock, County Derry, Northern Ireland
Castlerock Golf Club is located at the point where the River Bann Estuary meets the Atlantic Ocean. A fine links that is overshadowed by its more illustrious neighbours at Portstewart and Royal Portrush Golf Clubs. Several of the holes have lovely sea views and the par 4 eighth hole is almost a 90 degree dogleg right requiring an accurate tee shot to have a view of the green an accurate approach to an elevated green. There are an additional nine holes here located in larger dunes which make a nice addition to the other eighteen.
