K Club North

Straffan, County Kildare, Ireland

The K Club was venue for the European Championship from 1994 to 2005. It was also venue for The Ryder Cup in 2006, the first time it was held in Ireland. Developed at considerable cost, the facilities are excellent. The K Club is located on a 330 acre wooded estate through which the river Liffey meanders and features on many holes. Man made water hazards have been included on the course making it a challenging and unpredictable golf experience.
