Mount Juliet Golf Club is situated in a wooded estate through which the river Nore flows and feature on six holes. It had the distinction of hosting the Irish Open from 1993 to 1995 and being the only Irish venue so far for a WGC American Express Championship in September 2002. Strategic bunkering a hall mark of Nicklaus designs ensure the golf course will test the best of golfers. The resort also features a luxury hotel and nearby Kilkenny city offers many visitor attractions.
