Portstewart, County Derry, Northern Ireland
Portstewart Golf Club located on the scenic Ulster Causeway Coast and although nobody has found any evidence that the Giant ever wielded a mashie the game has deep roots in these parts of Ireland. The Strand Course is the jewel in Portstewart’s crown, set in classic links country amid towering sand dunes with views at every turn of the blue Donegal Hills, the rolling Atlantic and the tranquil estuary of the River Bann.
