Westport Golf Club has hosted the Irish Amateur Open Close Championship and is a long testing parkland course. It is located overlooking panoramic Clew Bay with Croke Patrick Mountain in the distance. There is a great variety of holes here, the most spectacular hole being the 15th, a par five where the drive has to carry an inlet of Clew Bay.
