Tom Ayley, Canada, 2010OK….you are better than very good…you are great.
Season’s Lodge is excellent. Very nice hospitality. We spent Monday at Carne and had a great game in 3 hours. A perfect day for golf – sunshine, and little breeze.Tuesday was fabulous at Enniscrone GC – little wind and lots of sunshine. Went to the end of Achill Island which was a great drive. A large day. Really nice and interesting course – so pleased we booked it twice. We had dinner in Ballina which was pretty good too. Today we played early at Enniscrone before the weather closed in. There was more wind than the day before, but very pleasant. Golf club is a great place for lunch. Had dinner in Enniscrone, at Ait Eile, at Gilroy’s. Excellent. We’re off to Connemara/Clifden tomorrow. The four days here is just about right.
Thanks for all your help, and great choices.
Greg Gruzdowich, USA, 2010Susan,
Thanks for coordinating our trip to Ireland. Traveling with two teenagers can be difficult, but everyone in the family had a great time exploring the northwest of Ireland. From the superb golf courses to galloping on the beaches (my wife and daughter rode 3 times in Enniscrone, Ballina, and Westport), we had a wonderful family trip.
We will definitely be back for another trip!
Tony Kiraly, Canada, 2010Hi, Susan.
We made it back alive from what both of us thought was a fabulous trip. We were very lucky with the weather, only rained 4 days out of the 18 – and it was only showers, not round stoppers. There were several days when the wind was probably 40 mph, which made hitting the ball very interesting but was great fun. We enjoyed the absolute stunning beauty of Old Head, which was very similar in many ways to Kauri Cliffs. We also enjoyed the almost 2500 km of beautiful Irish scenery we saw on the road. We squeezed in Dingle on the one free Sunday we had and played Portmarnock on the Thursday we had open prior to our departure. No complaints to note, although it was a little difficult using the GPS without the windshield mount. Also, I doubt anyone will follow our busy agenda (many of the Irish we talked to were in awe), but now having made the trip and seeing how large Tralee was (even had a McDonalds!), we think we could have stayed there for four nights (vice Ballybunion and Killarney) and covered Ballybunion(s), Tralee, and even Waterville and still been able to see Killarney and the environs. It would have been fairly easy for us to make the drives to/from the courses and being in one place for that period would have been a blessing. But that is a minor observation made in hindsight now that we are experts on Ireland.
Again, kudos to you and your staff for arranging an absolutely super trip. John and I are probably going to look at Scotland next summer because this trip went so smoothly and will certainly keep you in mind, we will definitely recommend you to any of our friends who ask us about setting up a trip to Ireland.
Debbie Taylor, USA, 2010Hi Susan,
Just wanted to say thanks so much for helping me with the Lane’s trip to Ireland. They had a wonderful time and high praises to you and your staff.
I will be sure and recommend your company for future travel.
David McCormick, USA, 2010Susan,
Hope all finds you well. We had a wonderful time in Ireland and miss it very much. The group has been talking and we were wondering do you plan golf for Scotland?
Keven & Tom McGuire, USA, 2010Susan,
WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME IN IRELAND!
We went so many places and saw so many sites, it was beyond our imagination. We went off the planned route quite a bit and took in a trip to Westport, Kilkenny, Hook Head and a few others places. The golf was fantastic!! The Garmin worked for us for the most part. I dropped it in the mailbox at the airport this morning. I have to thank you so much for suggesting the Dunbrody – it was well worth it! The staff, accommodations, the food was impressive! Mount Juliet was second on our favorite places we stayed. The peaceful surroundings of the Dunbrody were just what we needed! The G was our favorite hotel, you really can’t compare a hotel to the Manor houses.
Thank you so much for you help with this vacation to remember! I would recommend Golf Vacations Ireland to my friends and family!
Anne Moran, USA, 2010Fantastic. It was the best.
The planning, the courses, the accommodations were great. Jamie the driver was the best. He made the trip perfect. He was such a gentleman and so flexible. We loved him. We are planning next memorial day and would request him first off. Thanks Susan. We told everyone how wonderful it was. The hospitality was so wonderful. Please pass on about Jamie. He is a real pro.
Nora Morrison, USA, 2010Hi Susan,
Just home after a great trip! We absolutely love Ireland! Loved the hotels . Dropped the satnav, phone etc at the airport.
Thank you for your help with our trip!
Dear Susan,
Time flies and I haven’t had the chance to send you an e-mail to thank you for arranging our trip to Ireland! In one word, our trip was fantastic. We still talk about it and everything from the hotels, to the golf , to the cities and towns we visited was perfect. Thank you for meeting us at Hertz; it was much appreciated!
We hope to visit Ireland again in the not too distant future!
Brigitte Scheel, Canada, 2010
Susan-
On behalf of our entire crew, I want to thank you for putting together such an amazing trip. All twelve of us had an unforgettable experience. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and you did a fantastic job. I would whole-heartedly recommend Golf Vacations Ireland to anyone.
Mark Schulman, USA, 2010
Susan,
I have been delinquent in sending you this message and I apologize. The trip to Ireland for my son and I was great. As I am sure you know, the weather was exceptional- the best I have ever experienced in Ireland. The golf was terrific and my back did not bother me during the entire trip. Our hotels were fine with the Killarney Park Hotel clearly the best of the lot. I believe that I had previously stayed at The Killarney Park and while I was impressed with it then, the upgrades and improvements since my last visit have raised my opinion of it even more. It is clearly in my mind one of the great hotels in Europe and I would readily recommend it to anyone. All of the arrangements were flawless and we encountered the legendary Irish hospitality wherever we went. The only problems we had during the entire trip were with the airlines and that is certainly not your responsibility. I must mention to you how great our driver, Michael Prendergast was. He was thorough, professional, friendly, and a pleasure to have around. While not requested by us, he took it upon himself to even do our laundry one evening! He even caddied for Brian one day. He was terrific. I would suggest to you that he is a real asset to your operation and contributed significantly to our trip.
Once again, thank you for all of your help and I continue to recommend Golf Vacations Ireland to everyone I know.
Jack Sights, USA, 2010
Hi Susan,
we arrived last Saturday at home from our holiday otherwise I would have send you a mail much earlier. We enjoyed it very much in Ireland thanks to you! Lough Erne was courteous. We will recommend you to all our friends and we are very grateful what you have done for us. We will never forget this holiday and I am sure we will come back.
Dear Susan, thank you again and the best regards from us

Susan,
Just wanted to thank you for setting up a wonderful trip. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and everything ran like clockwork. Patrick was terrific, as were all of the people we met. Although I am not sure how everyone puts up with the weather year round, we will certainly consider a return trip.
Thank you again.
Scott Blumenthal, USA, 2009
Hi Susan,
We had a splendid time in Ireland, made all the better because of the bright, sunny weather. Thank you for all your help in making our short break in Ireland a great success.
Vivian Aronson, UK, 2009
Francesco Bernardi, Italy, 2009Hi Susan,
We come back from Ireland very happy and satisfied of our vacation! All is gone well, the locations were fabulous and also the golf courses.
Many thanks!
John Bowmer, USA, 2009Hi Susan,
Thanks very much for kindly hosting us all for lunch. It was great to meet you and put a face to the name. After initial rain at Adare the sun is now out again. I think you put out the myth that there is lots of wind and rain to keep the place to yourself! So far Dromoland wins the lodging stakes by a comfortable margin with Teac de Broc as the ‘best value for money’ and the Brock’s and their staff were charming hosts. We are off tomorrow early. Doonbeg was excellent. The food in the Long Room was superb last night.
Thanks for organising a great golfing experience. We all have enjoyed it immensely. No rain for 8 rounds. What is the fuss about?
Linda Eaton, USA, 2009Dear Susan,
Thank you so much for your assistance with our Ireland vacation. We had a wonderful time and had great weather when we golfed at Waterville. Everyone was very nice, and we liked all our accommodations. We especially enjoyed Malahide as our final destination point.
Our best to you.
John Van De North, UK, 2009I speak for all of us when I say thanks again for the great organization, we had a terrific trip and will be back.
